PAINTING WITH NEEDLEPOINT

1pm - 3pm

Spend a pleasant afternoon in the gardens of Pickhams, sketch your work then either work outside or return to the marquee to work in needlepoint.

Needlepoint, sometimes known as tapestry, is a wonderful medium for using colourful threads to make artworks and textiles, using a basic stitch. We look at simple methods to satisfyingly make your own pictures and designs. With a kaleidoscope of colours to choose from, materials are included.

No artistic or sewing experience necessary, but artists of all ages welcome too.
